Developed and manufactured in Germany, Nevada dairy effluent pond stirrers are built to last with very strong galvanised frames and reinforced slide bearings. The stirrers homogenise the strongest surface crusts due to the enormous mixing performance of the 3-blade high efficiency propeller.
Upon first appearances you might think that a pond stirrer is just a propeller at the end of a long pole, and therefore they must all be very similar. However, the extensive research and development that goes into Nevada PTO stirrers has resulted in a far superior mixing performance. Easy angle adjustment allows for optimum placement in the pond, and the reinforced slide bearings (with no sensitive oil seals) keep the mixer shaft turning through thick crust and vegetation. But the most important advantage of a Nevada stirrer is the specially formed 3-blade propeller that can get the entire pond swirling.
There are many benefits to utilising dairy effluent as a natural fertiliser, but for the best results, effluent ponds should be well-stirred before application. Unmixed effluent causes some paddocks to become overloaded with black nutrient-rich effluent, while others only get an application of water. Farmers and contractors prefer using Nevada stirrers because of their ability to quickly mix even the toughest effluent ponds into an even slurry, saving time and energy.
Seeing is believing, so check out the Nevada PTO stirrer demonstration video where it makes short work of a pond that hasn’t been mixed for a few years.

There are four Nevada PTO stirrer models to suit most pond sizes. The two FarmerStir models both have a crank for easy angle adjustment, and the larger TurboStir models feature hydraulic angle adjustment which can be operated from the tractor seat. With the ability to adjust the angle, mixing performance can be optimised in almost any pond situation.
